On September 3, the Paint Shop at BAW’s Qingdao base marked a significant milestone as the first vehicle featuring a two-tone paint scheme rolled off the new production line. Executives—including Yang Tieliang, Deputy General Manager of the Passenger Vehicle Division, and Hou Chao, Director of the Manufacturing Center—attended the ceremony alongside the project team from Changhong Intelligent.

The successful roll-off of the first vehicle marks the triumphant completion of the multi-color painting line project. It also signifies a solid step forward for BAW’s Qingdao base in process optimization and manufacturing capability enhancement, laying a robust foundation for high-efficiency production and quality assurance.
