Mr. Qiu Honggen and eight partners started their business venture.

1990

The first water tank coating production line was built at the water tank factory in Xiangshui County, Yancheng City.

1991

Renamed "Yancheng Urban District Changhong Coating Machinery Factory"

1994

The "Changhong" trademark has been approved as a registered trademark by the National Trademark Office.

1996

Renamed "Yancheng Changhong Coating Machinery Co., Ltd."

1997

Successfully implemented the "drawing board elimination project" and fully adopted CAD for engineering design.

2000

Founded the Jiangsu Changhong Mechanical Design Institute and enhanced technical capabilities.

2001

Renamed "Jiangsu Changhong Coating Machinery Co., Ltd."

2002

Acquired 100 mu of land in Yancheng to build a new production base and relocated there in October of the same year.

2004

Undertook the construction (as general contractor) of the 100,000-unit sedan painting production line for Geely Group's Zhejiang Jingang Automobile Co., Ltd.

2007

Undertook the construction (as general contractor) of the painting and final assembly production lines for GAC Gonow, with an annual capacity of 60,000 SUVs.

2009

Undertook the construction of the BYD (Changsha) 300,000-unit sedan painting line project (general contract).

2011

Changchun Huawei 100,000-Unit Bora Sedan Painting and Final Assembly Line Project (General Contract)

2012

Renamed "Jiangsu Changhong Intelligent Equipment Group Co., Ltd."
Acquiring 330 mu of land in Yancheng to build a new production base.

2013

Undertook the general contracting project for the 120,000-unit new energy vehicle final assembly line for Henan Suda Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd.

2014

Recognized as a "National-level Enterprise Technology Center";
Secured the general contract for Hanteng Auto's 100,000-unit SUV painting line project.

2015

Undertook the 120,000-unit SUV painting line project (general contract) for Jinhua Huake Automotive Industry Co., Ltd.

2016

Undertook the project for a truck front-axle painting line with an annual capacity of 330,000 units for Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd.

2017

Changhong Design Institute has obtained the Grade A Comprehensive Qualification for Engineering Design in the national machinery industry.

2018

The Indian subsidiary was recognized as a "National Demonstration Enterprise for Technological Innovation."

2019

Established a holding subsidiary, Fidia Automotive Engineering Systems S.r.l. (Italy).

2020

The "turn-and-soak" technology has been granted invention patents in both Italy and China.MIIT Green Manufacturing System Solution Provider.

2021

Recognized as a National Specialized, Sophisticated, Distinctive and Innovative "Little Giant" Enterprise, and awarded the title of Jiangsu Green Factory.
