The floor skid conveyor system (PBS conveying system) is a post-paint vehicle body storage and dispatch logistics system. It serves as a key logistics hub connecting the paint shop and final assembly shop in automotive manufacturing plants. Its main functions include buffering, sequencing, dispatching, and orderly conveying of painted bodies, enabling production takt decoupling between the two workshops and ensuring continuous and stable production line operation.

The PBS conveying system enables the orthogonal transfer of workpieces in three-dimensional space. By combining various modular units, it can be configured into systems with diverse functions—such as coarse and fine sequencing, buffer storage, and high-speed transport. Comprising equipment such as powered belt roller conveyors, friction roller conveyors, rotary roller conveyors, transfer units, stackers/destackers, and skids, the system features a flexible structure and high adaptability.
