One look confirms it: Changhong Smart Manufacturing is heading to Egypt—with two major projects launching overseas together!

Recently, the first batch of equipment for the new MMM vehicle manufacturing plant and the AFA plant upgrade project in Egypt—undertaken by Changhong Intelligent—was successfully shipped. This marks a significant milestone in the implementation of the company's internationalization strategy and demonstrates the core strength of "Changhong Intelligent Manufacturing"—forged through independent innovation—as the company steadily advances into the global market.

The MMM project is a smart vehicle manufacturing plant invested in by the Mansour Group; it is also a turnkey general contracting project undertaken by Changhong Intelligent in Egypt, integrating the three core processes of welding, painting, and final assembly. Changhong Intelligent is responsible for design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. The project has an initial planned annual capacity of 50,000 vehicles—expandable to 100,000—covering both internal combustion engine and electric models, and will incorporate advanced manufacturing processes alongside intelligent control systems.

Meanwhile, Changhong Intelligent has further partnered with Egypt’s AFA to undertake the capacity expansion of its paint shop, as well as the installation of conveyor systems for the welding and final assembly workshops. Upon completion, the project will enable AFA to achieve an annual production capacity exceeding 100,000 vehicles, significantly enhancing its vehicle manufacturing capabilities and painting process standards. The simultaneous advancement of these two major projects in Egypt marks a pivotal step in Changhong Intelligent’s strategic expansion across the Middle East and Africa.
