Success | Changhong Intelligent Wins Consecutive Bids for BAW Powertrain Installation and Retrofitting Projects

Following the successful implementation of the power installation project for Shandong Ruiling Power, Changhong Intelligent has recently secured a series of new contracts: the power supply project for testing equipment at BAW’s Qingdao Testing Center, the ME125 engineering retrofit project for the welding workshop, and the power installation project for BAW’s Dezhou facility.

Shandong Ruiling Automotive Power System Installation Project
The construction scope for the Ruiling Linyi project encompasses facilities such as the welding, painting, and final assembly workshops, as well as the central utility building. It involves the installation and commissioning of core power and utility systems—including power distribution, air compressors, constant temperature and humidity HVAC, circulating water systems, generator sets, and fuel supply stations—thereby supporting Ruiling Automotive in establishing a stable, energy-efficient, and modern production base.

Power Supply Infrastructure for Test Equipment at BAW Qingdao Test Center & Welding Workshop Renovation Project
To meet the specific requirements of R&D and testing scenarios at the BAW Qingdao base, the Test Center project encompassed key components such as high-voltage capacity expansion, low-voltage power distribution, busbar trunking installation, and the construction of refrigeration systems; simultaneously, the renovation of the welding workshop was carried out to further optimize production workflows. The implementation of comprehensive circulating water systems and compressed air piping networks has significantly enhanced the operational efficiency of the test equipment, laying a solid foundation for BAW’s new vehicle R&D and testing activities.

BAW Dezhou Plant Utility Installation Project
Located in the Economic Development Zone of Lingcheng District, Dezhou City, this project encompasses the installation of utility systems for facilities such as the power station, stamping workshop, welding workshop, painting workshop, and final assembly workshop. The scope includes high- and low-voltage power distribution, air compressor stations, oil supply stations, boilers, and diesel generator sets, as well as workshop utility piping and process power distribution systems. Changhong Intelligent is responsible for providing a comprehensive range of engineering services, including design, procurement, and installation.
